Some of my first experiences with game modification came with the opportunity to create my own player skins to be used ingame for "Starsiege: Tribes." It was fairly simple to do, all you needed was a .vol extractor to get the files out that you needed. After that all you had to do was the actual graphic work and a series of "remaking" the images using certain color scales and tools to transform the images. I had a lot of fun doing this and I even made a lot of weapon skins and substituted them in for the originals so my player setup was completely unique. There were 3 skinpacks laying around my old withering webspace and it is those which I have posted on this site.
