Unreal Frisbee Mod

I created this UT2004 mod solely by myself and as it stands now, it still needs some work. I did implement a player, pawn, pri, gametype, goal, weapon(driver), scorecard, menu and all the animations and scoring were done by me as well. I also did the teleportation and collision detection for the frisbee goal. Depending on how many shots/strokes you take to hit the frisbee goal, your character will dance/animate accordingly. The main thing to be done still is to add custom models for the goal and frisbee, as well as a throwing animation.

OMG I Messed Up - EPIC FAIL

    When I backed up my hard drive before cleaning it off I made a bad assumption...
  • I assumed that the UFGame folder, was the most current one
  • Apparantly I never backed up my final version of the game
  • Instead I actually re-backed up the old wrong version (about 2 weeks of progress)
  • This is by far the single MOST FRUSTRATING, AGGREVATING AND HEARTBREAKING game development mistake I have ever made before, and will never make again.

All the great stuff that was lost forever

  • Group/Party Creation Menu system
    • Users can create a 4-some
    • Users can join an existing 4-some
  • Each user gets a different color trailer/emitters
  • Camera that follows your shot
  • Camera System that goes 3rd person when done shooting, reverts to first person when you pick up the disc again for your next shot
  • Realistic bouncing behavior for the discs
  • Custom HUD with scorecard and score for each hole at the bottom of the screen
  • Spawning with the correct Frisbee 'Weapon'
  • Notification of Eagle, Birdie, Par, Bogey, & Double-Bogey
    • Specific Character Animations for each
    • Happy or Sad character Animations
    • Waiting Anims while waiting for other players in the group to finish the hole
  • General Improved Gameplay
